All the benefits of wool, plus soft, squishable support similar to a down-feather product. Our most versatile pillow, tiny puffs of wool encased in a zippered case of organic cotton sateen can be adjusted for maximum comfort.

Wool puffs have more substance than down, meaning they can take a shape and hold it. You can easily add or remove puffs to tailor this pillow to your growing child's support and comfort needs.

Naturally anti-microbial and anti-bacterial, inherently fire retardant and dust mite resistant, wool pillows are a perfect choice for your child's bed. 

How to Choose a Pillow

This product ships in a sturdy cardboard box secured with paper tape. We don't use plastic wrap or synthetic packing materials in the box. If you'd like a little extra protection, you can request your product be placed inside a biodegradable bag before boxing.

This pillow is made using our 100% organic cotton fabric and filled with our all natural wool bolus.

We only use organic cotton, natural and organic wool, or all-natural latex. Everything that goes in to making every Holy Lamb product comes to us from nature. You won't find synthetic materials or chemical additives in anything we create.

Our cotton is grown in India, then milled and finished in a GOTS-certified facility in Pakistan. Never bleached or dyed, our fabric is naturally soft and durable - And it's all certified 100% organic.

We offer a pristine natural wool sourced from a co-op of small sheep farmers in the western US, and a GOTS-certified organic option from New Zealand. None of our wool is ever carbonized or bleached, and sheep dipping is never practiced.

Sunning your pillow periodically will keep it refreshed and revitalize the wool. To freshen the Woolly Down after extended use, simply unzip the case and separate the puffs to restore the fill to its original fluffiness. The fill is not washable, but the wool puffs can be removed and the case washed. Machine wash case in cold water and line dry or tumble dry low.

The scent of wool - Our wool, both natural and organic, is cleaned and processed naturally without the use of harsh chemicals. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days.

There is a natural compression of the wool during the first few weeks of use. This is due to the felting process of the wool and will settle after the initial break-in period.
